TRANSPORTATION and SMALL BUSINESS CONSORTIUM
ACCREDITATION and MEMBERSHIP

Transportation and Small Business Consortium (TSBC) is Nationally Accredited as a Drug andNAADATP Accredited companies Alcohol Testing Consortium. TSBC is in a select group of NAADATP Accredited companies required to maintain and prove: professional competency, proper insurance, policies that protect client confidentiality, accountability and client service, and the highest standards of professional conduct. The NAADATP program requires an exam, a comprehensive course and application, and is administered by a committee of the drug and alcohol testing industry.

Since the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) does not regulate any consortium, the NAADATP accreditation is of key importance, since it sets and requires strict industry standards. DOT requires companies needing to be in compliance with drug and alcohol-testing rules (transportation firms) to check carefully that their consortium meets all the required standards. NAADATP accreditation is the first and only national means to do so.

We are pleased and honored that an independent body of the industry has recognized us with the NAADATP status.

The objectives of the DATIA NAADATP program and the Secrets to Successful Drug & Alcohol Testing Program Management seminar are: 1) to address the lack of a national consensus and frequent ambiguity on the role of drug & alcohol testing program managers in assisting employers to meet the drug & alcohol testing rules, 2) to continue the industry's growth and instill confidence with its members and government officials, and 3) to minimize inconsistencies with objective criteria on how to effectively manage a company's drug & alcohol testing program. The program will supply participants with concrete guidelines, standards, and examples that can immediately be put to use in their organization.

Transportation and Small Business Consortium (TSBC) is also is an Accredited Specimen DATIA Accredited Collection FacilityCollection Facility by DATIA. The Accredited Collection Facility Program and the Certified Professional Collector™ programs, administered by the Drug & Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA), were created by quality-minded leaders in the drug and alcohol testing industry interested in raising the level of accuracy in urine specimen collections. The programs enable collection facilities to assure their clients that they are committed to offering superior collection services.

These programs involve upholding the highest professional standards in the following two main areas: 1) the collection facility and its operation and 2) the collection facility's personnel. All accredited collection facilities are required to maintain a staff of Certified Professional Collectors™ (CPC™) and a Certified Professional Collector™ Trainer (CPCT™). To obtain accredited status, collection facilities are also required to adhere to strict standards in areas such as regulatory compliance, company services standards, specimen handling, operational practices, business ethics, and facility equipment.

Through theses programs, Certification furnishes the individual collector with recognition for their excellence and adherence to industry standards, and the company receives recognition through Accreditation.

At ASBC-TSBC all of our collectors are CPC and Dean Klassy Sr. has been appointed a Regional-Certified Professional Collector Trainer (R-CPCT).

Transportation and Small Business Consortium (TSBC) is a Charter Corporate member of the DATIA websiteDrug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association.
