About 2 two years ago, Toni and Dean decided to expand the business, the biggest move toward that goal was to open a sister office in West Allis, a suburb of Milwaukee, WI. Our new center is called the National Diagnostics Corporation or NDC. We are seeking to expand our services to non-mandated employers and to offer testing of all matrix for drugs. The current matrix’s for drug testing include: hair, salvia, sweat, lab-based urine and urine-Point of Collection Testing (instant) and will be adding DNA-paternity testing. Outside of the business both Toni and Dean are active in the Civil Air Patrol which is a national search and rescue organization. The Civil Air Patrol is an auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force. The Klassy's like to fly and spend time walking and traveling. HISTORY of the ASBC-TSBC ... A scenic pilot in 1989, Dean Klassy found he was required to have a drug testing program. Uneducated in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations for this, he visited a drug and alcohol consortium which took four months just to get in to sign a contract for the program. He further learned that it would cost $900.00 for just one person to be managed by the consortium for a period of only one year and that this $900.00 fee did not include any tests. (This consortium is now one of ASBC's competitors). The decision was made to not sign a contract, and the debate was on whether or not Dean would continue to fly scenics. He resolved first to look into the rules and requirements governing a drug testing program. Having always been in business for himself, he and his wife, Toni, found that they might be able to do better cost-wise and so Dean then proceeded to investigate some of the service providers. Conversations with labs, MRO and collection sites brought to light that increasing the client base would bring down costs. Dean and Toni decided to start their own consortium and so the Aviation and Small Business Consortium Inc,. was born. Over the years, ASBC has added services requested by their clients and is known for it's ability to provide the additional services their clients seek.
